University of Peace
September 8, 2011
Hello Folks, I wanted to let you know about the University of Peace. We live in exciting times and I feel it is important to focus on the experiences, tools and resources that support and encourage you as an individual and our shared world. So, here is some information about the University of Peace. The University offers a distance Learning Degrees including a Master of Arts in Sustainable Peace in the Contemporary World. Click here for a short video about the university. The University is Headquartered in Costa Rica, the United Nations-mandated University for Peace was established in December 1980 as a Treaty Organization by the UN General Assembly. As determined in the Charter of the University, the mission of the University for Peace is: “to provide humanity with an international institution of higher education for peace with the aim of promoting among all human beings the spirit of understanding, tolerance and peaceful coexistence, to stimulate cooperation among peoples and to help lessen obstacles and threats to world peace and progress, in keeping with the noble aspirations proclaimed in the Charter of the United Nations.”
To ensure academic freedom, the University was established under its own Charter, approved by the General Assembly. UPEACE is not subject to UN regulations and is directed by its own Council of renowned personalities with expertise in peace and security matters. This has allowed the University to move rapidly and to innovate, focusing its new, rigorous academic programme on the fundamental causes of conflict through a multidisciplinary, multicultural-oriented approach. Hello Folks,
The Spirit Door of Unas was used to access the Hall of Records by using it as a focus of meditation just before going to sleep at night, just like a mandala.
The Spirit Doors of ancient Egypt were a way for the soul to travel to places such as The Hall of Records beneath the Sphinx where the soul could then imagine what was needed for guidance for the soul traveler's growth. The Hall of Records is depicted on the Dream Stella in front of the Sphinx as a vast library containing all of the knowledge the soul traveler would need at any time for psychic development or practical knowledge for daily use.

The shape of the Spirit Door is a 'Golden Rectangle' from which the mathematics of music, architecture, physics and many forms of artistic beauty can be perceived. This was well known to the ancient Egyptians and Greeks, it is still the standard of beauty even in Modern Times and Modern Spirituality.

Once the student of meditation and dreams has used the Spirit Door several times they can let go of the image and just fall to sleep at night, or meditate during the day, and receive the wisdom that is appropriate for them.

Sincerely,
Kevin Ryerson

Hello Folks, I am currently in Japan and have been here, for two weeks, meeting with clients and teaching. Tokyo is quieter, these day. The giant electric signs and lights are fewer due to the power restrictions. This does allow you to see the beauty of the night sky. People seem to smile and wave a bit more and are communicating and connecting with each other in a very sincere manner. Sincerely, Kevin Ryerson

A Cello

Hello Folks, I was in the airport one day on my way to New Mexico and I heard this great cello music. I wandered till I located it's source. It was a musician by the name of Adam Hurst playing in the airport. The music filled the airport with an amazing sound and great energy. I bought his cd and listened to it during my New Mexico visit. It became my personal soundtrack for that week. I highly recommend Adam Hurst's music. His web site is www.adamhurststudio.com. Sincerely, Kevin Ryerson

Hello Folks,
I have always thought that we develop talents in past lives. I feel that my own work in graphic arts came from one lifetime in Japan that I had memories of since childhood. I have traveled to Japan as an adult and to my satisfaction have confirmed these memories with visits to the historical sites and exposure to artifacts (paintings) from that lifetime.
In the future I think that we will be able to be guided towards careers based on the talents and inspirations that can be remember from other lives.
The following is speculation on my part but I think that the architect Paolo Soleri may have been incarnate in the American Southwest and that he was a builder of the Sacred Architecture of the region. Here is an example of that architecture:
Here is an example of Soleri's City of the Future Arcosanti:
Arcosanti, Arizona Reincarnation will be an invaluable resource in building The Cities of The Future.
Yours Truly,
Kevin

Here is a recent photo from the Hubble Space Telescope. You can click on the photo to enlarge the image. It is a picture of the star-forming region called Sh 2-106. The cloud of dust and gas is being shaped by a young star called S106 IR. On it's way to becoming an adult star, it is growing and bouncing off of its parent cloud. It is throwing off material at high speed and creating glowing lobes of hot, turbulent hydrogen gas. WoW! Regards, Lynn
